Christmas Message

It’s Christmas time already, if you go to the mall, you will see the holiday décor, the red and green evergreen, the bright red, white, and blue flashing light, the Mistletoe and the Poinsettia, Christmas is a colorful and busy time of year.

I am hoping we will not fall into the commercial trap; I know with everything that is happening, it’s easy to see Christmas through the lens of a well-edited commercial.

I pray that we will make this Christmas the best season, time to celebrate, spending time with friends and family. I think it will be good for the grandparents, parents, uncles and aunties and cousins, the whole family to gather and reflect on the Christ in the Christmas story, and maybe just maybe together we can give gifts and offerings in honor of Christ. Ellen G White once wrote “In every church let your smaller offerings be placed upon your Christmas tree. Let the precious emblem "evergreen" suggest the holy work of God and His beneficence to us”

Have yourselves a holly jolly Merry Christmas!
